questions that patients have with regards to their insurance
benefits when scheduling their first appointment. Even though
we do work with most insurance companies, there are many different
plans that you as an individual can choose, which makes it
difficult to tell you over the phone whether you have coverage
in our office. Even if we are not in the specific network
that you have chosen many people have out of network benefits
which can actually be more beneficial to you as the patient.
To make this process easier have your insurance card on your
first visit and someone within the office will verify whether
you have coverage in our office. This is something that is
nearly impossible for the patient to do because you do not
have access to appropriate information which is needed for
verification of benefits at Derry Chiropractic.
Most patients with insurance coverage, whether in network or out of network, have a co-payment that will be due at each visit and possibly a deductible that has to be met before starting treatment. These amounts are determined by the insurance company and are an agreement between you the patient and the insurance company, not Derry Chiropractic.
If you do not have coverage in our office our cash fees are very affordable to you and your family. Picking a Doctor from an insurance list is not recommended because you may sacrifice the quality of care you and your family receives.
